"Sudden Impulse" is a 3 piece Heavy Alternative Metal band from Erie,Pennsylvania. Since they formed sometime in June, 2006, the band has recorded their first E.P. simply titled "Drowning" under the Independent Record label GMD Records located in Erie. In 2008, they went on to record their full-length LP "The Penalty is Death".  Sudden Impulse has put out two songs for GMD Films projects, "House of Bedlam" and "Virgin Pockets". Sudden Impulse has had write-ups in local erie magazine "ERIjams" and "Spotlight TV".

Now in 2012, we have a new bass player in the line up, Ian Ford. We are releasing the 'Natural Selection' Ep sometime in late June, and we will be touring for it towards the end of the summer. 

The dates will be released soon, so keep a look out for the  release show!!

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
Using sonic sound waves from their amps, with the help of sincere but cryptic lyrics coming from shrieking vocal chords that sound like they are boiling nails, the band hopes to bring down organized religions, expose dictators, slaughter rapists, and expose the disgusting human beings and actions in the world.


INFLUENCES: 
Our influences are mostly old schol and include Dio, Pantera, Guns and Roses, Black Sabbath, as well as new cutting edge artists like Buckethead, Lamb of God and Down.
